A trip to Beijing is made more meaningful if you get the chance to visit the Temple of Heaven or also known as the Altar of Heaven, it is located in the southeastern part of Central Beijing. It is a very magnificent place, hundreds of people, both locals and tourists flock the place to get a glimpse of the ingenuity of the Chinese people.
In the ancient times, Chinese people led by the emperor himself visit the Temple of Heaven to pray to the gods for a bountiful harvest. This is a very solemn ceremony that is done perfectly, for they believe that one single mistake will bring misfortune to the whole country.
